Trying to do the valve spring replacment with the head on I've rushed & taken a rather large chunk out of one of the cam jounrals. Pretty sure it will render the head I have just put on as scrap. edge Posted May 26, 2010 Share Posted May 26, 2010 Thats a bummer. I know how it feels. On the plus side you wont do it again and you will be more careful in the future. I snapped a crush tube stud in my GT4 and nearly had to cut the footwell open to get it out. Get someone to have a look at it though as it maybe ok or put a pic up. What cams you got?
