Stock Twin Turbo System.

Just been having a read of some of the articles about the stock setup.

 

This topic has probably been done to death, but just wondering why people think its not possible to put bigger turbos on the stock system..

 

Hybryds go on, so why not a bit bigger turbos on instead? Obviously things like ECU etc have to be adjusted, but is there a machanical reason why this is just impossible?

Just the fact that they would be one offs that could only be used for a Supra due to the plumbing and other gubbins. That would make it very expensive for anyone to develop. The big singles are generic and can be used on any car given an appropriate manifold etc.

Natan @ TDI can give you an uprated sequential system. Phone him, cause nobody else can offer it.

HKS did a system many years ago. There are picture's floating about of it somewhere on mkivsupra.co.uk. It was discontinued fairly quick as most poeple were happy to spent a little extra for big twins and get a ultimately bigger power output. There is a black Supra still driving about with this system on it, its been fast and reliable I am told.
