evinX
Thats a bit fast and the furious:D Yea customs are prats, i mean you pay shipping costs, then tax just to bring a chunk of metal into the uk..why? moneys not going to help even if the uk floods with foreign materials...should be, sent via courier, recieved by courier company in you country, then processed to you...shipping prices should include tax imo to avoid this waiting, i went throuh this once, i had to wait like 2-3 weeks from heathrow!! supra steveo
just to let everyone know the out come of this, I am getting £470 refunded to me , think the best way to do this is if you having anything sent over from the US is to have it sent as a gift with tracking numbers stuff like a set of alloys is defo gonna get pinged by customs purely coz they are huge import tax cost me £120 plus £20 VATbased on the cost of alloys being $500 and postage £530 they are sneeky too because the add the cost of postage into the total cost to calculate tax and vat
a98pmalcolm
i paid £12 on a bloody £15 BOV insert!!!
supra steveo
you shouldnt have items only get taxed if they are over the cost of £18 all in
