Ricky49
Why not buy a TT instead of the hassle and cost of converting to one.

Chris Wilson
prefer to do the conversion, seems more fun and rewarding It's definitely NOT financially rewarding though, done right it's a money pit.
Attero
Unless you have a steal for a deal when you bought the N/A like myself. In which case, a complete conversion + my N/A supra overall = overall cost of a TT. Win.

Supra Gaz
Re-sale isn't always important to people, I don't think supras are the type of car you can say "oh, they hold there money well, I should do well selling it on", Its not a ford focus, it's a toy, a hobby, granted a huuuuugely expensive one, but fun none the less. Once I have done the chassis mods (interior is almost done) I will going down the n/a-tt route, it's nice to work on a car, isn't that the whole point of supras and in fact this site? Supra_Sean
I picked my n/a up cheap as chips thats why im getting a tt dropped in. But i like to build my cars right from the bottom (well on the road bottom) then i can really make it my car and i can look at it and think yeah that was all my hard work, I never think about the resale, I buy my cars to enjoy them not to resell them for around the same price and not lose too much. Missile
I think if your in the market to buy a supra and don't currently own one, buying an NA to go TT in the future might not be the best route, getting a good TT would be far more benificial really. But if you have owned your NA for a good few years and are mechanically minded i don't really see why its not a good idea to under take the conversion yourself or via a trader on here. If you have the budget to do it go for it. I think a running std TT conversion is around 2k - 2.5k.
johnny g
If he wants a manual box as well, which I thnk is what he said, then you're looking at £5k+ for a car done right ...

A proper TT 6 speed box is £3k Again I guess if you have the budget and want to part with it the end result will be worth while.
