Guest erha
Hi, you already you had this theme very often, but unfortunately I find nothing because the part is made from Germany. I have a friend who wants to automatic in his non-turbo mk4, these fit SLD who has the say in part bought on ebay without Installation instructions. where you can get there cable? thanks for the help regards erha
chrispot
unless you know who made it would be hard to indentify what cables are what on the SLD, i would purchase another with instructions, I would not try it, but you could look at others and if the colours match fit it to that. regards chris
stevie_b
As Chris said. At a guess, the red and black wires provide the power (+12v and 0v respectively), and the other two wires will be the speed signal input and the speed signal output (which way round, I've no idea). You could probably take the +12v and 0v from any convenient place in the loom. There's a pin in the ECU that accepts a speed signal, and it's this that you'd need to intercept. Do a search for the TRL wiring diagram to find out which pin it is. Use this info at your own risk! I echo Chris' suggestion of buying another that comes with instructions. Guest erha
You are right, it is safer to buy a manual or at least compare, I'm looking through the times, is determined to give something. Thank you for the quick reply ... regards Erha
