marbleapple
Evening all. I keep having to do research at work and keep wanting to obtain the British Standards. Does anyone know where it is possible to obtain the standards without cost legally? Ironically it seems that despite the Standards being British Standards, it isn't possible to get them and know what the standards are without paying! Paul
I work for BSI BSI are not a Government owned but are the UK’s National Standards Body, they are independent hence why they charge for the standards. Can't get any dodgy copies of standards etc. but if you let me know what ones you are after or the ones you want further info on I'll see what I can do

marbleapple
Hi guys, I wanted the British Standards relating to wooden staircases and also the standards relating to horseriding skull caps (not for the same thing). I can get them from the British Library but I wanted them quicker than the time it takes them to post them to you.
