edge
Had the tracking done on the other halfs avensis estate as i had new tyres all round. It didn't pull at all before it went in for laser alignment but since it pulls to the left but the tyre wear is perfect and had done about 6 - 7k miles since. So i am assuming something may have been bent previously but what is likely to be the culprit? I want to order a few bits just to stiffen the steering/front end back up again as its approaching 180K miles. Any ideas?
Hoppy
Hi mate. First things first, did they use a 4 wheel laser alignment system? (eg did they put gauges on the rear wheels?) My advise would be pop back to your garage and ask them to check for worn/damaged parts, eg, track rod ends, steering rack, ball joints, bushes etc. If everything is ok, get the tracking re-checked and go from there. Also make sure the steering wheel is dead centre before they start tracking it. There are many things that can cause the wheel alignment to go out of line. Eg, worn parts, pot holes, bumping into curbs etc. Hope this helps + good luck Steve
L18msy
Also check your tyre pressures as well.Make sure they are all the same.
