dont flake out after starting this thread even if it is over 100 degrees :D

This'll be my fifth Troop so it's not like it's new to me. I haven't gone down on a parade yet in 10 years so I'm confident about this one too!

More common is drinking loads of water so that you're nicely hydrated but then needing a p*ss after 10 minutes and having to either get on with it or just decide to let it all go. That's happened in the summer outside Buck' Palace more then the general public will ever know!

All this time I thought there was supposed to be a moat around the palace...

well done (to the ones that actually can stand up).

I had a passionate dislike to parade as a cadet.

Think I'd rather face the taliban than a military dignitary with an eye for detail.

Even to this day, if i hear someone shout "Right Wheel, Quick march" I mess my pants.

... makes visiting Kick-Fit rather embarrassing lol.

So will the person passed out be punished ?

I've already had him in my office for an "interview without coffee" (he's in my platoon so discipline is my responsibility). As soon as the medical investigation is done, assuming there's nothing physically wrong with him (which there shouldn't be - he's an infantry soldier, after all!), he'll be charged for a self-inflicted injury. It's a man's world!

Thats strict as hell lol, so as punishments go during ww1 if they refused to go over the trench they got shot did they not? Does this still happen lol

Sadly not, although the punishments for "refusing to soldier" are some of the harshest we have. For obvious reasons, of course - depending on the situation you could seriously endanger other troops' lives by inaction.

And this is the reason why I could never join the army, I dont do discipline well lol. I have a problem with people talking down to me, and giving me a gun is just a bad idea I love to destroy things when bored, if I actually had to destroy something for a living I would be like a kid in a candy shop haha.

I always think that when I see the armed police on the main gates at Sellafield. I'd get bored and start taking pot shots at seagulls or something, lol.

Exactly the type of thing I would do, idle hands are the devil's playground sort of thing, or shaped charges on the side of a hanger that when set off spells out have a nice day now with a smiley face.

So, what rank are you George?

Gold Sergeant, since you ask.
