Flip Posted May 23, 2010 Share Posted May 23, 2010 Hi all, So, a friend saw fit to sell his soul and buy a 230 SLK Kompressor. Unfortunately it developed a misfire, non-starting, "going to do what I darn well please" problem, and he attempted to resolve this by replacing the odd broken sensor, getting the ECU re-programmed and fitting a new coil pack or two. After great expense, all should have been well, but now (possibly because the ECU has been travelling all round the country trying to get fixed) the immoboliser seems to have immobolised it! As he is at his wits (and financial) end, is there a way that anyone knows of to cheaply and easily remove the immoboliser from the loop? Have to have someone else do the work, and take reg docs if required, but the car is stuck just outside Thorpe Park, so someone nearby (and ideally mobile) would be perfect!
