Wyntersun
Yes with matt black plastikote, they were primed first. Cheers mate, do you have a post on how you did them? Or, how did you get the lenses off?
SupraShaun
Will you be doing more of these in the future?
scotty71
Any guarantees on being sealed fully? Well Mr T cant give that due to the amount of condensated ones . They are reheated to supple the original bond/seal and more added. So I would say they are better sealed , Too much sealer will oozzee out when you get them back together. Will you be doing more of these in the future? I dont mind doing peoples if they send them and cover the cost of the paint / postage both ways etc, and depending what state the rings are in whether they need electroplating. I guess thats going into the hobbyist teritory for which I have not enquired and dont want to step on anyones toes, so I might have to enquire, or just buy them to sell on

scotty71
£170 with no guarantee of them not misting.. They are referbed to look better , Mr T cant give that guarantee. You should know this yourself as you refurb lights. So the purpose of your post was??
scotty71
JamieP sold a set of your lights in the last week right?, I didnt see any comments in that thread about misting. Oh yes your not going to be a critic to your own work are you.
RobD
I think what Dave was getting at, was that you haven't put in your thread a guarentee, dave gives a guarentee when he does his! I know because my first set had to go back! He didn't grumble at all and even met me 20 miles away from my home Only reason I'd like these is because of the chrome rings! scotty71
So he gives a guarantee that they dont mist, they did so he redid them. What does that tell you? You can never gurantee any Supra lights will not mist. its a for sale thread not a compare what he can do to what I can do with the lights. He runs a business and if he wants to give a guarantee thats fine no problem. I bought a set of lights to replace my misted ones (misted now refurbed and on car) so the unmisted I bought I have refurbed and am selling on. For sale threads are getting silly at the moment with comments that are unjust.
