jevansio
I know there are LOADS of post on removing crank pulleys which I have read, but this is specific to the Boostlogic pulley. To remove the nut, can I make a SST which bolts onto the pulley and stops it rotating while I undo the nut. I've taken a photo of the pulley with 3 options of where to bolt such a device. 1. Remove what looks like some 6 original bolts & use those positions. 2. Use some of the 6 bolt holes between the original bolts that have not been used 3. Use 4 outer bolt holes which seem of a larger diameter Would appreciate some advice incase I do something I shouldn't & break it

jevansio
I don't have the room bud, I was planning on getting a length of steel bar and bolting it to the pulley & using the ground to stop it spinning, then using a breaker bar on the nut Was the first arrow I came across in PaintShopPro
Swampy442
Oh right, Id say go for the outer bolts, larger diameter holes means stronger bolts
Rob
Any measurements on the holes and their distnaces apart. I have a full crank pulley tool set if you need it, in the same place where we dyno'd.
dude
You can buy a torque multiplying tool that will fit on and you just whack it with a hammer and it will undo the bolt, or man up and use the starter trick!!!!
