DAVE-W-
Its the same old story. One problem fixed another develops. The supposed japanese specialist garages im using have no focused knowledge on supras. Its gettin to the stage im considering puntin the car but id rather try and get it fixed one last time. I just want the """BEST""" person to sort it. Is Envy one of my best options from Glasgow? If i have to travel far tho to get the best i will and ill pay for the best. Just need it fixed b4 i have a mid life crisis and get a 3 series Please no random garages down backlanes that you know a guy. Im after the best person i can get with the facilities available to fix it. There must be somone renowned as the best Much appreciated Dave Wilson

AlanM
Worth a trip to CW mate, I have travelled to him from here and it was well worth it
DAVE-W-
Cheers for that Alan. I get the impression on here that CW is one of the most knowledgable guys there is. Hes closer than Whifbitz so if people say hes the best il go there ( Was hopin for Envy cause its close:p) but the journeys worth it to get car right
AlanM
Give him a bell, he is very helpful. Failing that e-mail, he does not respond to PMs
Abz
If you can drive from Scotland to London, your car must be fine What issues are you having? Maybe we can help?
JamieP
What is wrong with the car?
FireStormNBI
try to download the supra repair manual, helps a lot.. better do it yourself than trust it with someone who is not familiar with supras.. like in my case, we have a toyota dealer here in our place, but the mechanics are not familiar with the supra. i dont want my car to be their guinea pig.. DAVE-W-
I know more about cooking than i do about mechanics and thats sayin somethin so i aint touchin the car. Its a combination of boost issues, idle issues, smoke issues.......... Thats why i just want to give it to the right person (with a blank cheque:faint:)to sort it. No hassle just results
InSvain
that sounds like a turbo seal to me.... correct me if i`m wrong have you tried the "search" button because it can help you alot with troubleshooting
Harry Sachs
For what it's worth, I had multiple issues with my car too, I blew my HG, got the car back bodged, on the way home I blew the 2nd turbo. I've come close to selling it more times than I can count. I took Geo's recommendation and went to Ian at West Coast Customs in Irvine. Ive had my car back a few months now, and it has never run better. I won't be going anywhere else to have even the smallest of jobs done. Hopefully you get it sorted without too much more hastle. Scott
I don't know of any Supra specialists up here bud. In your shoes I would maybe give Jurgen a call and see if he can help you out? He is only a couple of hours away (Newcastleish) and obviously knows the cars inside out.
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
if you need a hand let me know and we can sort it out mate.. (depending on mine and your schedules) we sorted a supra today that another local garage had it for 5 days (and could not fix it)and we fixed it in 3 hours.. Geo
As most folk are aware, Scotland is very limited with people who know alot about Supra's. Ian who works on my car alot, does know his stuff. But as he's not a Supra Guru like, LeeP, Jurgen, Whiffin, guys who deal with these cars 24/7. The fact that all guys like iv mentioned are miles away dont help. Even more so your car aint running properly, do you risk it by driving it, or trailor it to be safe?? i would recommend Ian, as he does alot of work on mine, and do trust him completley with my car, He also did my Single Install, in fact its going in for Cams, Electric Fans, belts, Suspension adjustment, and now titan pully after speaking with JamieP. after i come home from hols in about 2 wks time Iv PM'd you bud, so when you can give us a call. As JamesyW has said, his car was pretty poor when it was in, now all running sweet, well thats until he hit a SPEED BUMP, Dummy!!
