Guest jackfrosty
My Mk4 Supra has a squeaking clutch. Not a squeak from the pedal going up and down, but a constant twittering squeak in time with the engine revs. Depressing the clutch pedal slightly makes the sound go away. Is it the thrust bearing? Is it a problem that must be fixed or is it just an annoying noise? How hard a job is it to replace? Thanks

Thanks that's probably the release bearing, only way to replace is removing the gearbox. mine is doing the same for at least 1 year and no problems, apart from the annoying noise. Neil-NA
Mines done the same since i got the car last September. Finally got round to buying a new clutch with release bearing. It has to be said it is a bloody annoying sound.
