Anyone know of a good site(s)? What's size is best for an all rounder, 17" or 18" Also what are the details I will need when looking for a new set? ie; pcd?, centre bore? ET? etc etc Cheer all

Dnk
The spigot bore is 60.1 mm Have a look at the ultralites as they had some good deals on 3 differant styles a couple of weeks ago. You could give Ibrar a call at Speedwells (trader here) he deals with Ultralite http://www.ultralitewheels.co.uk Edited May 21, 2010 by Dnk (see edit history)
hoff
The TT originally came with 17s. 8 inch wide up front and 9.5 at the rear and both with an et of 55. For the best ride and handling as close to that as possible would be reccomended. Most market wheels have an offset of et35 ish. Give or take. If you want a nice mix of show and handling/comfort 18" are probably best bet. 19" is about the max diameter you should go for. Before going to 18s I had 19s. On the road I didn't feel that much difference, a little bumpier may be. But I feel for more confident on spirit drives with the 18s. As for looks, thats upto you. Do you have any styles or wheels in mind? Take a look in my garage. I have a black supra and there are 2 or 3 differant wheels on my pics. Our traders would be the 1st port of call:) Other than that, or the well know tuners and suppliers have good web sites. Obviously your budget will make a differance to the quality. £1200for example will get you a decant wheel and tyre package for something like Rota's or Ultralites which are relative well priced for quality. If your budget is more than I'd be looking at Volks etc.
hackin_n_bashin
Rota seem to be getting popular, with good sizes. I've got some grid drift 18", 9" front, 10" rear. Fronts are fine, but I've put 265's on the rear to avoid any contact. Think you'd get away with 275's as well.

Wyntersun
I have a set of 17" Rote force on my Gen 6 Celica and they look perfect, I do like Rota grids. Wouldn't mind getting the same but for the Supra, obviously not in white tho! I shall have a look and post up for photos of my choice Edited May 21, 2010 by Wyntersun (see edit history)
Wyntersun
Im liking these at the moment in gun-metallic http://www.ultralitewheels.com/daiki.htm just not too sure on the chrome lip tho, thoughts?
Dnk
I think you'll find that its just a polished lip and not chrome, looks pretty good and not silly money The nurburgring, taka and speedstar also look pretty nice Edited May 21, 2010 by Dnk (see edit history)
Wyntersun
sorry to sound stupid, but is a polished lip better then chrome lip? They seem a fair price too, think they would look good on a black aero?
Wyntersun
Would alloys would you say would suit a stock bodied 1994 aero top in black? I'm liking the gun-metalic Daiki on the ultralite site, but wondered what else might suit it.
