Guest SupraTroopa
Got my new spoiler and went to change it, popped off the black plastic cover easily enough, located the bolts to undo but they don't seem to come out, just keep turning. The spoiler definately feels a bit looser but don't want to just yank on it. Any ideas?

Dnk
Im guessing that there are threaded inserts moulded into the wing (spoiler) and these are turning hence the bolts are just turning but not coming out, are all four bolts doing the same ? What wing is it ? o/e Tricky one to resolve if thats whats happening, you could try carefully pulling on the wing as someone undoes the bolts, this might put a bit of tension on the insert and stop it from turning, failing that you will have to cut the bolts or just carry on turning them till the inserts work free and pull out the wing. Guest SupraTroopa
No idea what wing it is, have a look at my garage, haven't seen another like it before. Ok, will have another bash tonight. Cheers

Cheers Sorry in this instance you were correct and it is actually a spolier as the air only flows over one surface. I can't think of any other ways to get it off without risking damage to your paintwork on the tailgate other than carefully drilling the heads off the bolts. Good luck
