Lurch
Hello, After deciding I wanted a track day car rather that use the sup about a year ago, I finally got one today. Well the old man got it for me through his 'cars wanted' advert. Its a 4wd Toyota celica 2.0ltr, I know its not the fastest as its non turbo, but I think its a good starting point. Taxed till the end of the month and little MOT. Tiny bit of rust on an arch and a slipping clutch. £150! What do you guys think... good track day car? Lurch
Will be a few weeks/months before I'll get time, but I'll let you know if your interested. Need to change the clutch, stiffen up the suspension first.
kslb
Great buy, would love a track car myself but too many on going projects to justify it at the moment. let us all know how it goes on your next track outing.

Lurch
Changed my mind with the celica. Found a peugeot 306 xsi to use instead. Just come back from a track day session at Lydden. Not very impressive I know, but such a laugh, cant wait for the next one in Febuary.

Arbedark
4wd and a non-turbo? I'm pretty sure they didn't produce that configuration?
Lurch
No they didn't, it was front wheel drive. I was wrong. I was told it was 4wd when we picked it up. The main reason I didnt use it. Going to be scrapped soon.
