i dont care what anyone says that duraflex is a load of s**t, we have been fitting kits for years and years and to be honest if you want good fitment then a good fibre glass kit is the way to go replica or genuin.

that duraflex is seriously poo we did a rx7 a few months ago and the customer paid a small fortune for it and the fitment was seriously shocking.

I don't know if it was the cheesy advert, but I wouldn't buy from them. If you can, buy a genuine kit, they are tough and fit brilliantly

hit the nail on the head mate, but even some replica kits are good compared that crap lol. you cant really cut corners when it comes to bodywork imo it either makes the car or destroys it.

ok fitment might be crap, but no way would any fibreglass copy stand up to that abuse, unless youve used hardly any hardener and left it to cure for weeks .

no your correct fibre glass will never twist or bend like that but i would be more happy with how it fits and looks. fibre glass takes alot to damage anyway.

you fitting a kit then mate?

no i was searching google for new resins to create a more flexible product.have tried the so called flexible additives but not that impressed.i can get the product flexible but it takes a long time to cure and looses slight rigidity.Ijust like experimenting with different methods.

Id go with fibreglass over plastic, becuase they are popped from moulds to, if its of, if has to go in the bin. Atleast fibreglass can be, cut/joined and reshaped easily...unlike the plastic aftemarket bumpers that come from moulds like the fg bumpers...
