wallis
When I first got my car it had a conversion kit fitted which changes the speedo from km/h into mph on the dials but my digital millage has always been in km, is this normal for the conversion kits? Any info would be great as Im selling the car and a few people have asked the question. Cheers matt
AndyT
It's the same as mine and others then. Nowt to worry about just make sure your MOT cert. states kilometres.
wallis
That's good to hear, Its not just my conversion then! Cheers andy
stevie_b
It is normal. Converting the speedo to MPH does not automatically convert the odometer to miles. It's a bit of hassle to convert the odometer properly so many people (myself included) don't bother.
Alex
It's best to leave it in KM's as I think some are converted so that it stops rolling up in KM's and switches to counting up in miles, but without changing the numbers at the time of change...so effectively you end up with a odometer that is reading way higher than it should in Miles.... Leaving it in KM's leave's no doubts...
