Nodalmighty
As a few have shown an interest here are some pictures of the prototype http://nod-land.co.uk/assets/images/Gauge%20Front2.jpg http://nod-land.co.uk/assets/images/Gauge%20Front1.jpg http://nod-land.co.uk/assets/images/Gauge%20Back.jpg http://nod-land.co.uk/assets/images/Gauge%20Side.jpg Ignore the screws, These are PC ones I haven't got the counter sunk M3's to fit here yet (although the holes are pre-counter sunk ready). The other holes are for the studs that enable it to be mounted. It's 70mm Diametre by 18mm deep. I can colour the LCD Red, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Electric Blue, Green, Lime Green, Magenta & Pink. Naomi at Metal Monkey will be making a nice stainless water cut frontage to sit in the recess which can be customised to suit the application. Just need to find a suitable box for the Computer part of it. Lyndon.

Wez
Looks nice, a configurable CAN BUS gauge would sell well for the aftermarket ECU installs.

Nodalmighty
The computer box will basically have 3 x RJ45 sockets for the screens, One RJ10 for the I-Drive interface (The rotaty switch/button combo will be remote mountable), a D9 for the serial interface to the ECU and a 12 way wiring ZIF plug/socket (Similar to a Race Tech DL1). I will support whatever a Syvecs, DTA, AEM, OMEX, Emerald, MoTec, VEMS, Autronic chuck out of their serial ports. I can't support Apexi or Link as there is no info on their serial data stream at present. Gauge Housings will be available in Brushed (as machined), Mirror Polished and Bead Blasted finish (Ti look). I will look into colour anodising at a later date. EGT amplifiers (0 - 1250c), 3 Axis G meter, Pressure sensors for (Oil,Fuel,Brake,Air) and Both Bosch NTC temp sensors curves will be supported via the 8 analogue expansion port. So it can be a stand alone system which can stream serial data down the USB to the PC @ 10,25,50 & 100 hz. Lyndon.

Nodalmighty
Will it have any sound to alarm driver of over boosting, pressure too high/low and temperature...? There are 2 digital IO pins exposed at the ZIF connector. These can do what ever you want. Typically they are used for RPM and Speed in the stand alone configuration. Lyndon. Nodalmighty
Thats a shame Nice work though. You can use it stand alone, you don't have to have an ECU interfaced. Lyndon.

Nodalmighty
Looks nice, a configurable CAN BUS gauge would sell well for the aftermarket ECU installs. I did some work on DC Can Bus about 10 years ago. If fact I need to see if I can find that chip set again. Basically the can network is modulated onto the power line so you only have one cable going around the whole car. Imagine a car with only two wires (Starter Motor power and main bus power). Yamar still do the little DC Can board, Woot!, I quite fancy NO loom in my MR2 just a can controller front and rear for the lights and bits and pieces. The Can chip (MCP2510) seems easy enough to interface via the SPI. Fortunately the Syvecs S6 has canbus so I have something to test it on. Lyndon. I'll just build this into my unit free of charge Lyndon.
