BBC 4 Now - High Royds

Just turned on to BBC 4 and to my surprise there is a whole programme dedicated to High Royds, the place where I live, which used to be the largest nut house in the UK.

I know a lot of people like old ruins on here so I thought I would let people know.

You live there? Are you a homeless type?

It wasn't the homeless that lived there. More the mentally unhinged. When it closed they turned it into flats and I bought a house on the site..

Nice! Your flat is haunted by these lovely characters then.

Meet the previous occupants of High Royds :hide:

Yes, I know. Weird isn't it? I think it's because underneath all that nasty make up and ill fitting face masks, they are damn hot sexy models just acting in a film. Nice! ;)

Yes! you're right mate.

I also quite like the way they're so keen to thrust their hips and pelvis towards me in a 'come and get it" kind a way.

Maybe we could set-up a internet group.

The Zombie Nurse fetish Club

A hideous and nasty, but still sexy group would be great! ;)

actually, the 3rd one from the right is a bit tasty

I wouldn't mind her coming into my bedroom during the night.

Each to their own Ed, each to their own...

They're definitely 2-baggers though. One paper bag for her, and one for him just in case hers rips.

Interesting, shame I missed that. I don't like iPlayer much: huddled around a 15" laptop screen.

Excuse me whilst I go chase my pink elephant.

I knew it was a mentalist home, but from what I'd seen on 28DL I assumed the whole site was still derelict.

Nope. All the buildings are systematically being redeveloped. Some of it is quite stunning. I live on a new build property overlooking an orchard and Menston Park. The old hospital buildings have been converted into huge houses or flats.
