Robzki
This is why you don't want to park a classic in a hedge.......... Kicking myself at the moment. Life has a tendency to get in the way of projects. Contemplating stripping it for bits now rather than the intended resto'

pedrosixfour
Best thing you can do is put it back where you found it and then go write gobshite at the top of your shaving mirror.

Robzki
hahaha....not yeah I know, absolutely lost heart with it. was pukka. Built it to take the pi$$ outta the gti's and xr's rs turbos 12 years ago. then some gob$hite undid the wheel nuts...the inevitable wheel off at 50mph ripped the wing inner wing etc. Custom paint and signwritten, lack of parts off the shelf so put it there to teach me a lesson to stop wasting money on cars. I didn't learn that lesson, but I did learn that I am a nob for neglecting it. I have a coupla other 2000gt's in storage so this will be good for parts. but I'm still contemplating a rebuild if it can be saved. has the usual lsd, quickbox, uprated oem suspension and the stunning(for the time) twincam 2ltr with sidedraughts etc. we'll see. just gutted when I went and had a good look as you don't take much notice when its been sitting there for 10yrs and you pass it everyday. Think that might look a bit odd with the rest of the car having holes in it.
Homer
What a waste, looks way beyond being repairable Rare to see classics dumped here in the UK, but it's commonplace in the US. For any car enthusiasts this might bring a tear to the eye (It's now active and updated again after a long period of inactivity): http://www.carsinbarns.com
