Abs ecu

My car is at a garage with ABS problems, 2 codes are stored on the ecu to do with speed sensors but they cant wipe them. They've tried disconnecting the battery and also pressing the brake 8 times in 3 seconds but neither work. Is there another way of clearing them or is the ABS ecu broken?

On the MR2 there is a plug that needs unplugging to allow service work on the ABS computer (I assume this is so data logs of the brake activity can be extracted in the event of a crash). It might be the same for the Supra. It is near the ABS actuator on the MR2 and I would suspect the Supra would be similar. Look for a black 2 pin plug near the other actuator plugs (usually taped up).
