edinlexusV8
Hi folks, I had a set of TEIN FLex coilovers installed on my car last weekend. We just followed the instructions in the installation manual and set every measurement to the specified values. Now I find the ride very stiff and the car sits quite low as the exhaust is bottoming out on speed bumps even though I go over them at a snails pace. I would like to increase the height of the coilovers by at least an inch on each corner. I have gone through the manual and various forums but it is getting a little confusing. Some say to release the dampening rod by releasing the top mount screw, some suggested unscrewing the lower part a bit and tighten the first ring from bottom, while others adviced to squeeze the spring and then adjust the two rings below and on spring rebound it will push the centre dampner out a bit increasing the height overall. Does anybody in here know how to adjust(increase) the height of these coilovers? I am new to these and any help would be much appreciated.
