Marco79
I did a very easy conversion mate, ordered a mr2 rear fog switch off eBay which fits into the switch blanks under ur stereo perfectly, took a power feed off the cig lighter and ran it via the switch to the rear lights, I then identified which positive feed was for the brake filament on the inboard rear/brake light and cut that wire and spliced the new feed into it and then routed the same feed to the other light cluster. This now means both lights come on when I flick the fog switch. To keep in with mot requirements I removed the bulb in the switch and installed a red led and looped the feed from the positive feed going to the lights into the led contact on the switch so it illuminates when the lights are on this setup flew through the mot and is very cheap and easy to do mate, hope this help bud any questions feel free to ask away

Marco79
Ah that's easy then mate use the positive feed you already have and use that instead of running a new one like I said, it will take you 30mins to do it and your all done
Marco79
If it's the same as mine mate the wire for the brake element is the green with a White stripe

JODY T
i didnt want to mess up the brake lights so i fitted it into the right hand reverse light.. Its easy just find the red with blue trace wire and cut it. then connect the fog wire and the end together... job done

I have a red led cluster in my reverse light as my fog, but im sure it isnt bright enough. Looking to swapping it over for a 21watt filliment bulb and use red bulb paint. MartinBattye
you use a diode... so that that both your brake lights work normally.. and when your fog switch is on one of the brake lights stays on without backfeeding the other lights. better solution than losing two brake lights. tbourner
Doesn't that mean you don't have 2 working brake lights when the fog light is on though? Which I think is an MOT fail (unless you have a working 3rd brake light I guess)?

As the supra has 5brake lights in total you can loose 2 and still pass the mot so it's not a problem
