Branners
Does the boost controller have a safety limit built in to it? 1.3bar sounds like the point at which a safety would normally be set.

AJI
could be a small leak in a pipe or the intercooler
michael
Why would you want to go over 1.3 bar? All you'll do is generate more heat, it's unlikely you'll get more power than you would at 1.25... that's my experience anyway.

Ian C
could be quality of fuel add a bottle of octane I'm very interested to know how adding octane booster to the fuel can affect the mechanical operations of the boost control system.
nigelboyne
mate i haven much knowlegde of turbo cars, from experience my car was overboosting as high as 1.71bar that was adding toulene/xylene and 2 bottles of nos octane booster to a tank, since i stopped using the additive boost has dropped down to 1.4/ 1.5bar,the only other factor i can think of is the weather has got warmer,
Dave17
I saw a 5th hear test of octane boosters the other day, said they all reduce power...
nigelboyne
from experience in turbo and non turbo cars adding toulene/xylene increases pwr and torque along with smooth idle
