HKS F-CON V-PRO GOLD/HKS CAMP2 and few questions

Hello,

as you might know I recently bought the white 1997 RZ-S GT3540 Supra from Jurgen.

It is equipped with a HKS F-CON V-PRO GOLD and a Blitz dual SBC boost controller.

Also it has several gauges for boost, egt, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure.

I dont want to miss the function of such gauges because they can save the engines life at a moment.

Though I am a fan of clean structures which makes it necessary for me to remove all those analog gauges and combine them in 1 instrument.

Thats why I am going to buy a small screen that fits in the double din area where the radio is located.

I installed a screen in my old Supra as well and it turned out really nice.

Nowadays the screens are even better and everything can be seen even in sunlight.

I will connect the screen to my F-CON and additional sensors via the HKS CAMP2 unit.

I hope some of you can help me answering few questions.

1) Will I still need the boost controller or can the F-CON control the boost as well ?

2) What signals can the F-CON provide by itself to the CAMP2 unit without the need of additional sensors ?

Thank you.

Stefan
