Hey all, ive been searching the site for an answer but I cant seem the find any. Ive been offered som almost brand new jspec TT brakes for my n/a jspec. Its for all 4 wheels, pads, dics, calipers and so on, just around 150 GBP for it all.

Ive agreed with the seller that im to drive up and pick`em up tomorrow.

But when i came home today and sat down i began doubthing wheater or not they would bolt right on or if will be a bigger conversion!??

So long story short - Will they fit:search:(the alloys wont be a problem, more than enough space)..!?

Thanks!

Just to clear up a few things...

There is no such spec as "jspec brakes". There is no such spec as "NA brakes", there is no such spec as "TT brakes".

Jspec (NA or TT) cam with either the Large or the Small brake setup. It depends on the model and year which were standard and which were optional.

Uk spec (TT only) always had the Large brakes as standard.

What you need to check is whether they are 2pot front/1pot rear or 4pot front/2pot rear (Small vs large)

For £150 it's almost guarenteed to be the "small" setup, a 2nd hand set of large brakes would normally be £800 upwards.

Arh, perfect. so im hoping for the small setup, as they will bolt right on - and i take it its a bigger issue to fit them, if its the larger version?

Is there a problem with your current brakes?

If you are buying the smaller 2pot/1pot brakes from a TT then they will be exactly the same as you already have fitted. ie. the smaller 2pot/1pot brakes fitted to the NA and TT are the same.
