Scooter Posted May 15, 2010 Share Posted May 15, 2010 try a be a bit more descriptive a 'gurgling' sound would not make me think of the wastegate ? Gurgling = fluid noise to me is that correct? You could have a air lock in the coolant system? if its cold i'd check your rad level (should be to the brim) and then let her idle with the rad cap off (look for bubbles in the rad) and see if it gurgles with mild neutral reving (let it warm up a bit first).....pop the cap back on........turn the heater and blowers on and check for gurgling again and check you get hot air....................report back Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dan1985 Posted May 15, 2010 Author Share Posted May 15, 2010 my brother in law who is a mechanic just turned up and the first thing he said was blowing exhaust he then looked at exhaust manifold, there was a valve with a pipe coming off it with nothing on the end....? I hope u get it sorted, did u pay the full 7.5k for the car it sounds like a nightmare already mate, I wish u had waited untill Monday when my supra was back from shop, it's such a good reliable car.
