Darragh
My daddy has a gs 300 sport and it's running 275/35, the tyres look perfect not to big and not to small

Nic
Are they 18's? If so 18/30/275 or 18/30/

TTRickeh
Is that to keep the rolling radius close to stock Nic? I have 18/30/285 and wish I'd gone with a 35 profile for a bit more rubber.
jevansio
285/30/18 or 295/30/

Yes closest to stock rolling radius. There's a useful tyre size calculator HERE which allows you to compare tyres sizes. Stock Tyres Sizes Front 16/50/225 Rear 16/50/245 Front 17/45/235 Rear 17/40/255 Edited May 15, 2010 by Nic (see edit history)
Kirk
I manage a 255 on a 10" rear on 17s? 9.5" are 265. So 275 would be my two penneth. How you figure that when stock 17s are 9.5j and run a 255? Its all dependent on tyre choice, actual tyre sizes vary between brands. Pirelli p-zero rosso's are huge compared to falkens of the same size Edited May 15, 2010 by Kirk (see edit history)
supra steveo
285/30/18 or 295/30/18 why a profile of 30 ? i was thinking of 235/40/18 for the fronts and 295/35/18 for the rears ???
Scott
The 35 is a %age bud, not a size. If you went with 35% of 295 you would get a 22" diameter including the tyre. The 30% profile would be closer to stock
Nic
why a profile of 30 ? i was thinking of 235/40/18 for the fronts and 295/35/18 for the rears ??? Steve see tyre calculator link I posted above, if you put in the stock tyre size on one side you can then compare the new tyre size on the other, you want a 'Tyre rolling circumference' as close to stock setup as possible.
