my chameleon is laying her 1st clutch of eggs[GRIN][/GRIN]

about 40 so far (max 75) was a bit worried as she was seriously bulging and not laying.. (if they dont lay they get egg bound and die!) just got in from work and found her in the nesting box curling them out.. all a little bit smaller than a cadbury mini egg..

takes 9 months to hatch though, will be in the incubator in the morning then fingers crossed!

either that or i have em for breakfast, hmmm scrambled or fried??

Cool mate, Hope they hatch out ok. I have always wanted a chamelion, Just don't have the time or space to look after one properly. I had leopard geckos for years they were cool, pretty easy to look after as well.

What Type of Chamelion have you got?

They are cool dude. With that many eggs and the Pythons, if they were to breed, you could start a shop.

My wife would leave me if I brought a snake, she hates my mates corn snakes and they are little. She would tolorate a Chamelion as she thinks they are cute , like the gecko's.

mine are about a 18 months old, viv is 4ft high x 2,5 x 2.5 which is plenty for the size of them at the mo... if you put them in too large a viv when they are small it stresses them out and can kill em!

http://www.rfuk.co.uk is a very good site if you need more info, plenty of info, care sheets, topics etc on all reptiles, friendly bunch willing to advice and assist!
