Dashboard Clock problem

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've just purchased a Supra in the last couple of weeks and unfortunately the clock is not where it should be. It has fallen back down inside the dash a couple of inches. I was assuming I could just take the clock section out and grab it but that particular bit doesn't seem to come out...

Any ideas? and why would this have happened in the first place?

Many Thanks...

Stewart

I imagine someone may have had a gauge in there before and broken the clips on refitting (the hole is the perfect size for a 52mm gauge ;) )

To get the panel off, remove the gear surround first, it just lifts out. Then you'll be able to remove the panel with the clock.

I have managed to take out the whole dash and found the clock and no broken catches so its slotting back in easily! However it doesn't seem to have any buttons to poke through the dashboard plastic so I can adjust the time? Have they fallen off somewhere??
