Thanks for great support yea it is still hard as this was my first dog and I had him since I was little. He was always a nice caring dog never asked for much. I just hope he has a great after life where ever his soul goes

RIP Spike :(

went down the individual cremation route here with the last two of mine, bringing them back home just seemed the right thing to do and makes things a little easier.

Chin up mate, I cried buckets when I've lost dogs in the past.

Its so horrible to loose your dog, They become part of the furniture and become a family member, they are always there for you no matter how you treat them and want nothing in return.

I know how you feel bud, i lost both of mine 2 years ago and one thing i've learnt is that time is a great healer. I went out and got another 4 weeks after. I just couldn't cope with coming home to no jumping dogs at my feet. Getting another dog does help mate even though you think you might be dismissing the other.

Yes me to mate. I have the ashes from both of them in a small engraved box in my back room.it was nice to bring them back home, and it feels like they are not totally gone if that makes any sence.
