My new Supra is fitted with a flashpoint T101 V2 alarm system.

Im having trouble working out how to lock and unlock the car with out the alarm going off etc.

Has anyone got a Flashpoint alarm and fob, maybe explain which button(s) I use to lock/unlock alarm/disarm the car.

FWIW my Flashpoint alarm is a royal pain in the ass. A few seconds after I get out of the car it auto-arms itself so even if I get out and walk around to the boot to get something out I then have to disarm it again to gain entry without setting it off. I also have to leave the keys with my girlfriend if I leave her in the car whiel I'm paying for petrol or something.

You can disable that somehow.... but I don't know how.

I know you can turn on/off the beeps for arming/disarming by pressing the button with the drivers door open for example.

Mine wont set the alarm siren on but it will immobilize the car after a minute I think of the car being switched off even if I don't alarm it...!

I think all Thatcham approved alarms have to do that. You can re-mobilise it without all the annoying beeping by putting the key in the ignition, turn to position 2, press the ARM button on the keyfob.

The alarm will disarm silently. You can then turn the key to crank as normal.

Cheers for the info guys :)

Yes to above...! come on dude, you only have 2 buttons to try...! hahaha if it ain't 1 it must be the other...! hahah

I know the button arms/disarms the car, but it keep setting it off as the car will arm it self within about 30 seconds of me getting out the car.

So I will need to put the key into the ignition and disarm the immobilizer by turning to position 2 and press the disarm button.

If the alarm has auto-armed while you are outside then you will have to disarm it again before you try to get in. If you are already inside and it immobilises, you can use the method I described to disarm it silently.

Hopefully Thorin is right and theer is a way to turn off the auto-arm feature.

Doesn't tell you how, just that it is possible to disable :(

AUTOMATIC (PASSIVE) ARMING (Manufactory default OFF)

Remember this feature is selectable. Contact your installer to select this feature.

Ensure the ignition is switched OFF. Exit the vehicle in the normal way ensuring all doors,

boot, hatch and bonnet are closed securely. Wait 10 seconds after the last door has been

closed securely, the traffic indicators will flash twice and the alarm system will give two

audible tones (selectable) thus signaling the “Automatic Arming”. The vehicle LED will flash

regularly for 40 seconds (pre-alarm time). When armed in this way the windows and sunroof

may close (Optional features) but the doors will not lock. Please ensure you lock the doors

using the normal ignition key!

If Automatic Arming has occurred, a seven-second re-entry delay will permit the user to

disarm the system by the ‘ELECTRONIC key’ on return to the vehicle.
