Ganty
Hi all I will be taking the supe for a blast around Castle combe curcuit at japfest this weekend and was wondering what tyre pressures you guys were running? Thanks in advance:d
SteveR
It's the hot ressure you're interested in, so blast it round a few laps and see what happens. If the pressures go up a lot, drop them to what you normally use on the road and use that as a default starting place. Be careful though, if you drop the pressures then obviously when you stop driving the pressure wil drop much further and will handle badly until you get the heat, and thus pressure, back up again. That could take a few laps, depending on how hard you are able to drive the car.

SteveR
You will feel the pressures get too high, and will feel what it's like if they are too low... experiment but try to stick aroud the stock pressures you're used to at least initially, you'll learn lots I'm sure. Chris Wilson
As a ball park figure, 32 PSI cold, 38 hot, set a sensible cold pressure, do a few laps (say 5 at a proper speed), and reset. Without proper tyre probe measurements it will only ever be a good guess. My main concern at Japfest would be keeping out of the way of the nutters, not tyre pressures, plus you are unlikely to get the tyres warm anyway.
