i was getting my dials out to fit my el-glo's and i saw this box attached to my speedo..

is it a speedo converter and does it meen if i don't put it back my speedo will be showing km/u?

i know it sounds pretty stupid but i bought the car here in belgium and i don't know if it's in km or miles..

It looks very much like a speedo converter. With it, your car almost certainly reads in mph. Without it, it'll read in kph. You'd need to re-attach the speed signal wires though, basically returning the wiring to standard. I can post up a wiring guide for a DSC if you want, then you may be able to reverse-engineer it.

that would be great :) i have another question. i'm not able to solder my wires for my el-glo's to work. i was thinking the following: my ugly green bulbs are out so what if i take the bulbs out of the holders, put the holders back with the wires between it. would that work? i just don't know where to put - and +.. [OOPS][/OOPS] :p

wait a minute, i think the el-glo's i bought in km/u are ment to be used an mph reader..

so if i would reverse-engineer it, i'd be messing it up.. i'll check first ;)
