scotty71
Most cars have some stuff that needs doing. I got my TT in January and I wanted to get some 18" Ultralites and the front Bomex bumper sprayed and UK brakes fitted, But Im off the US in 5 weeks so my things will get done July. Sounds easy but 2k to spend before my holiday wasnt going to happen with buying the car and going away. So yes Im not chuffed I have a few stone chips on the Bomex but thats the way it goes so while I feel your pain, most have things we want to get sorted
stevie_b
Even though I do all those miles the Supra really holds up well! That in itself is something to be proud of. I loved Japfest when I went, it's a real celebration of Japanese cars. The clubs were friendly to each other, everyone mucked in. Happy days! supra_aero
If Chingy turns up (which I bet he will), no-one will beat Chingys do luck car in a supra show. The truth hurts - still got the memories first time I saw that thing in japfest. Couldn't get one pic in without someone standing next to it, it gets that much attention. shima60
don't worry my front bumber is still held together with black tape after an unfortunate incident involving a fox lol.
Spike3.0
My trouble is all from the previous owner, One of the alloys is kurbed fairly badly and the wing and bumper is scraped on the same side. No idea how he did it, but I've been meaning to get it done. Just no point until I get the kit fitted.
Spike3.0
Ill never be happy with mine, NEVER, cos theres always something to do.. Spike3.0
Sounds good to me...someone who actually just uses her as a car..not a trinket. No offence intended to anyone..I'm 1st to admit I'm very protective of where i park mine!! lol Met a guy in the local Tesco once who had a 350hp TT..and it looked very used... 'it's just a car' he said.. Side by side it made my paint job look mint in comparison..happy days lol I always park mine well away from anyone but other drivers don't give it crap. I always find some idiots parked right up against it, with empty spaces everywhere Goddam man pull yourself together Give her a good clean, polish n wax, have a firtle under the engine bay and clean the alleys;) Taking the car and having a good day is more important than worrying about your car. Like already said there will be better condition Supes and worse but thats not what its all about, Have a great day and come have a beer with scotty71;) , Ill even go over it with speed detailer for you lol People buy Supra's in varied lifestyles, I use mine weekends only or sometimes bi-weekly so its easy to keep clean some use daily. We all have different budgets for our stuff so.......... enjoy the fest spike I'll be up for that beer! Going to need it after the early start I'm going to have... Dave
Yeah, I will. But some of the cars on here are amazing, I've yet to see a bad one - I'm hoping others will be in the same situation. My cars no Sunday drive, I'm travelling upto 3000 miles a month in it:blink: im sure he meant 300, if not holy cow
Purity14
I used to do 2000 a month in mine, but when 40p a mile turns into 25p a mile. Then its cheaper to run something else for the remainder.. *Grins*

Spike3.0
I gave it a good clean and polish;) Did you like it or was it one of the worst? Next year should see it finished and looking A1 Andy

The-Plethora
Looks fine to me, one thing I would suggest to make it a bit more tidy would be to remove that front bottom lip and get it sprayed back, should clean up nicely
Ewen
What a strange thread. Were you 'showing' the car ? Expecting to get 'best car at show' or similar ? Or did you just go there to have a good time ? Its great to see an unmolested OEM Supra, it looks pretty good to me. Nice wheels too. I'd think the same even if you hadn't washed it for a week. Not quite sure what you're worried about.
