SteveC
The microphone/sound level meter app combination on a phone are known not be very accurate, unfortunately. You'd really need a dedicated sound level meter to get an accurate result.
Steve Paine
I only mention it to give a rough guide. Granted a dedicated unit should be used, along with a measuring stick with an angle thingy on it as used by the track marshalls at Brands and other circuits! mellonman
110db! What exhaust is that mate? Jap speed TRD replicar it's a nice sound but too loud for my liking and the neighbours with the bung in its still 105db , don't have real figure for without a bung as know it won't get on track so didn't get it tested

I only put my bung in if im going on long journeys or driving late at night. Apart from that I like it loud

Sheefa
Quick question, any ratings on the Veilside Titanium exhaust? There is one on the Supra I am buying and tempting to change for a HKS Titanium as judging my this thread too loud for track days and general use! Thanks. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?247859-Gauging-Interest-Veilside-Ti-Teardrop-Exhaust/page2&highlight=Veilside+titanium
Wez
I use to have the Veilside Ti and had to take it off for track, ended up with a Tannabe instead. Let me know if you decide to sell the Veilside

Wez
One of the best sounding exhausts but def not track friendly, makes the supra sound evil
