Steve
Before i fitted my Dash2 display i noticed that the Speedo/Odo would not always work. Now i have fitted my Dash2 display i have noticed again that the Odo no longer counts the miles up, so i have bypassed the Thor converter that was fitted so it was back to stock just to prove the converter was ok. I have metered the cables from the sensor to behind the dash and they are fine, i also did a refurb on the pins in the plug. So i then jacked up the back end, put it in gear, to see if it would count, still nothing Now i dont need to worry about the speedo as the Syvecs uses the wheel speed sensors to work out the MPH and sends this via the Can bus to the Dash2, so basically i am just using the stock speed sensor on the gearbox to run the Odometer. I could just add on the miles that the Dash2 counts up to the existing Odo reading but it would annoy me so have to have it working Just wanted to confirm with others that it must be the sensor on the gearbox that has died? Or can anybody else think of anything i could have missed? merckx
It's possible to do a resistance/voltage check on the speed sensor. http://www.turbosupras.com/pdfs/JZA80%20TSRM/DI.pdf#page=
Steve
Cheers for the link. I also found this one. Page 44. http://www.turbosupras.com/pdfs/JZA80%20TSRM/BE.pdf Will give that a try.
