Jurgen-Jm-Imports
Who is the mapper mate? John Banks - the guy that has cracked all the COBB software issues and helped all the 9 sec R35 GTRs worldwide.. hes currently develpoing SP (speed density) with COBB for the big HP gtrs to allow 8 second runs, he is currently working on a 9.1 AMS car with. search him up as thistle on GTR forums (guys a genuis - he works closely with GTC so ben will have input also). the plan is to run engine in at low boost once thats nice and smooth, do gearbox mods and also other engine mods and start to tune it slowly till we get to desired level.. these guys above have mapped more R35s than anyone else worlwide. Jurgen-Jm-Imports
new AMS 4 bar map sensor arrived and also our new Custome SPE fuel rail and FRP with gauge. we decided to fit it now - (so engine we only need to swap injectors once its ran in).. we also heatwrapped more lines as these turbos produce massive heat. transmission tunnel was also done.. we fitted brand new oil and its now ready in placefor saruday to lift up.. Jurgen-Jm-Imports
well she is in and it fired and started first time but will only idle for 5 seconds or so then cut out ,. its throwing a p0328 knock sensor fault on bank 1 (high voltage).. by the time we fired it up had no time to install another knock sensor to try out. so its going to be early next week before we can have a run out in it.. thanks to pete and joe for also giving a lending hand today with tools etc.. me chris and jean worked flat out from 9am to 530pm with out any breaks.. here is pics we are nearly there
James
Looking good! Great that it fired first time too! Shame about the knock sensor but at least it is already identified and can be swapped out.
