Jurgen-Jm-Imports Posted November 4, 2010 Author Share Posted November 4, 2010 a little bit of an update.. as my engine is nearing arrival i have decided to up the power some more.. i have decided to modify my fueling and also upgrade my GREDDYS via SPE.. i have also decided to have my manifolds and downpipes coated to reduce heat.. gearbox will also be getting some special treatment.. reason for my thinking is that i want to this once and once only.. the car will have been off the road 1 year by the time its ready and i would love to hit a low 9 or maybe a high 8 in full trim with slicks and et of 155.. Jurgen-Jm-Imports Posted November 14, 2010 Author Share Posted November 14, 2010 small update.. am changing the spec a little on my car.. i have decided to send my manifolds and downpipes to zircotec to get them coated to reduce the heat they will produce.. i have also decided to have my new Greddy TD06 turbos sent to SPE to get them reworked so they can support 1100 AWHP.. so what this mean is that the car will now run around 1050bhp to 1100bhp in UK power terms,. here is a graph of a similar kit did from SPE but with no stroker kit. i have also decided to get a HPX sensors and a 90mm race exhaust system and y-pipe courtesy of GTC. SPE will also be supplying me - PPG 1st gear OS Giken diff to keep the power down SPE Custom fuel set up and lines and FPR HKS pumps (these flow and are bigger than walbros and with no carrier mods) ARP head STUDS Low temp theremos HKS headgasket and HKS manifold gaskets HD CLUTCH BASKET FOR 1,3,5,R HD CLUTCH BASKET FOR 2,4,6 HD PISTON AND "SEAL FOR LIFE" FOR 1,3,5,R HD PISTON AND "SEAL FOR LIFE" FOR 2,4,6 AND MECHANICAL CIRCLIP HIGH TEMP PISTON SHAFT SEALS 16 EXEDY GTR FRICTION DISKS 14 EXEDY GTR STEELS 4 EXEDY GTR END SHIMS i think this above will hopefully help keep power down and hold box together.. the build will now begin properly in JAN when all my other parts return from SPE etc.. am now really looking forward to see what this car will do next year.. am hoping the car will do a low 9sec pass and also be drivable on the street, lookinng at them graphs i think the car will be ok for street driving,. am only going to do one run at the pod as no doubt they will ban me for no cage or shute.. They list one for the R35 HERE I've no idea if it is the same as HKS one though. I just know that other pumps HKS sell are Bosch items, just *guessing* that the R35 one may also be. New style Dry carbon bonnet (am not sure if i will leave or customize with paint like other GTC bonnets).. it looks really hard, afik this is the first of the new style bonnets in UK.. race y-pipe 90mm qaulity is amazing and its like picking up a plastic tube i was gobsmacked by the weight of this thing.. My new 90mm race GTC TITAN, again i have seen many makes of exhaust systems from all kinds of tuners in Japan and USA and this thing is probably one of the best system i have seen for looks, quality of welding and fabrication and price.. (its so light as well in weight).
