Guest ugp
Looks nice, that nut and washer holding the spindle in place would worry me though!

Cerikbok
Anyone think this is a good deal besides me? The turbo is rated for 900 BHP and it is brand new
SupraHuman
Is it the dbb? I would not have any problems with buying a comp turbo, as mentioned i almost did, very good value for your hard earned pennies.

Cerikbok
What would the difference between the DBB and the TBB be? It is listed as the TBB so I am sure that is what it is, but I really don't know a ton about turbos TBH. That is why I brought it here for advice
SupraHuman
Pros and cons really, more stuff to go wrong i.e more friction, but more bearings should mean better rotating capability, quicker spool perhaps. I doubt there is much in it tho.
JamieP
Found one of these for a great price. Has anyone had any experience with CompTurbo products? .84A/R with divided exhaust side housing 2.5" compressor outlet intake is 4" opening of the vband is 3.5" Very odd sizes that turbo. A divided .84 is to small for a 74mm turbo on a 3.0L engine, i think that will surge like mad. 2.5" compressor outlet is also small for such a large turbo, anything 67mm and up 3" is far better imo. Thanks for the expert advice Jamie, guess my search for the perfect turbo will continue. Hopefully one of my american friends has a T04Z lying around....
