Cerikbok
Anyone had any experience with these? How are they as compared to Tein Super Street, found a beautiful new set of these in the states for a bargain and thinking very hard about snatching them up! Nic
Do you have a photo or part number? HKS only do the Hypermax III suspension for the Supra now.
Cerikbok
Here is a picture, contacted him about the part number. He listed in his ad they were discontinued. They look so good!
Nic
They are the Hypermax II's, although they did a drift version I think which may account for the 'D' in name you gave. The Drift version are sprung and damped differently, I think they are stiffer than the standard ones. The standard Hypermax II's are fairly stiffly sprung, they are a harder ride compared to the Tein Super Streets. I use to run these on my own car, good on decent A roads, but can get very choppy on poor B roads.
Cerikbok
Thanks for the insight buddy, will keep that in mind! Looking up the Hypermax II's you noted i accidentally came across a full explanation of the D version. http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/partdetails/HKS/Suspension/Coilovers/Hipermax_D/7575 For anyone interested. Talks about the Silvias but applies across the board I am sure. Guess I won't have a use for something like this unless I build a drift kit haha Edited May 5, 2010 by Cerikbok (see edit history)
