Geo
My southbend seems to rattle, judder, sounds as if its ready to fall out the geabox when at the biting point on a hill. just wondering if any of you guys running it has the same problem?? I know the southbend is a bit judder when pulling off(and heavy) this i can deal with, but when on an incline its sounds as if its gona overheat, explode and blow up. The car pulls very strong when in full pelt, and no slipping, just the problem when at the biting point and holding it. Any idea's guys?? edge
Thought id bring this back up, as im still getting the same problem. its driving me mental. How many miles and how much abuse has the flywheel had? I'd put money on it being the flywheel or prop related. just read your 1st post again. I had an rps 6 puck and rps flywheel in mine and that juddered like a pig being raped by a farmer but a good few miles of abuse soon sorted that. The southbends are more like stock though. Did anyone check the flywheel bolts aswel? Edited August 29, 2010 by edge (see edit history)

Geo
Hi Geo, how did you go about fixing this? I had LeeP check it at Suprapod dude, he gave it the all ok, so looks like it might just be the type of clutch it is. Only problem is iv got a clutch release bearing squeaking now, soon to be replaced. How many miles and how much abuse has the flywheel had? Fky wheel is fine dude, Paul @ Whifbitz checked it. Also imo the stock flywheel cannot take the extra abuse that a single can throw at it for too long, pretty much every 6spd single we ever look at on a stock flywheel it needs changing.
