Benyon
Only because my insurance on a TT is £2200 Likewise:rolleyes: Just asked the sky insurance guy on here if their is anything he can do, I think its abit stupid how someone like myself cannot get insured on this type of car mainly because of where I live, I know of a 19 year old on here who owns a TT six speed he lives down south and hes paying less than what I am on my N/A:mad:
Tom S
could always look at an Aristo TT...........
Benyon
could always look at an Aristo TT........... That did cross my mind however they are massive cars inside and I fear of drowning in the comfort (only 5 foot 9).
Chris Wilson
Buy a blown up RX-7 and have a proper engine built for it with new housings and a small single turbo. That way it should be reliable and within budget. Buying running RX-7's can be risky unless you KNOW they have had a recent and PROPER rebuild. Great cars, but need proper care. Show off lol, I bet not too long ago the supra was a car for over 30's only, If you can get one at that age then get one just please dont abuse it;) @Chris Wilson Sounds like a good idea I bet the go for 2-3k with blown engine, only thing with me is I Dont get my hands dirty and stay away from mechanics on my car (I wouldnt even service my car) simply because im not confident and cant afford mistakes, I could look out for a blown engine one thou, thanks. + I dont know anyone who works on rotaries. Purity14
Honestly, everyone everywhere quotes me complete nonsense, even on my daily BMW and other crappy cars Ive considered. Adrian Flux are the only ones that give me a decent quote; oh and put your mum on as a named driver so she can go down the shops in it. Drops it by a about 10%. Benyon
My mum dont drive but I could try with my dad or my older sister on. Thats what I did when I owned my GTI-R at 21, it knocked the insurance down a few hundred, it seems in my case I need a grand dropping lol. Bailey.
if your worried about money DO NOT buy an rx7, there a time bomb waiting to go off, however if i won the lottery i would buy another just for the noise!!!!
Benyon
if your worried about money DO NOT buy an rx7, there a time bomb waiting to go off, however if i won the lottery i would buy another just for the noise!!!! I could buy one, insure it and run it fine, but I couldnt handle a money pit, and I need a reliable car. Like Chris said If I bought one with a blown engine for between 1-2k and have the engine built by a top notch specialist that way I know it should be a good a runner however Im not sure now I wanna take the chance. If I can get insurance on a TT6 import then thats what I will get.
