Big congrats to Irvine on the 13.2 still with cat in place and only 0.9bar of boost Big BOO HISS to RJM Performance in Glenrothes for overfilling Irvine's Supra's oil by an entire litre on his last service!!! Wouldn't touch them after that... today at Crail it caused the oil to leak out the filler cap and the warning light to come on because of the excess pressure. What a bunch of Cowboys! Cheers, Brian. Irvy Posted May 29, 2005 Author Share Posted May 29, 2005 Brilliant day lads!!!! best moment of the day...i got a 13.3 (Brian did very well to get the 13.2!!!) 2nd best momment of the day!!! - last urn...i line up with the GTR thats doing low 12s!! We get to the line...lights change and we are off...ven with a good start the taxi hits the front!! 2nd turbo comes online and he aint pulling so much!! car hits 3rd gear and for some reason the taxi loses traction - i look over and his nose is behind me!!! Hell i can see the finish line and just keep mashing the pedal!!. He drops a little more...then quickly reels me in...but by then we cross the line...me 2/10ths of a sec quicker than him!!!! taxi! wot taxi??? hehehe ps...aint using that garage again - thanx for the assistance of everyone with tools, knowledge, muscles, wipes and the van for selling bottles of water...all required to fix my oil overflow!!! Good to meet Andy and his m8 - Andy, your Soarer looks like it has some great potential as it really seemed to shift once rolling Be good to see those vids. Also, who was it you said did your custom exhaust work for the turbo elbow? Be good to know someone that can do decent custom work including the flanges etc, used Freeflow in the past for some stuff but seems crap on getting flanges to make 3" turbo elbows and decat pipes etc. Just glad that extra oil didn't cause the notorious crank oil seal problem Irvine! Brian. i got used to it quickly!!!...also have learned how to warm the tyres before heading to the line (was worried i would fishtail from standstill LOL)...nice bit of smokin rubber keeps the crowds happy!!!
