FIA Approved Seat Options?

Howdy,

I have sold the Sparco Corsa seats and Bride subframes so in the market for a new FIA approved setup, I am looking to mount the seat without a subframe to get me further away from the cage roof bars, also looking for something lighter.

I have been searching and have these in mind at the moment, what do people think?

Very nice but Corbeau dont publish the weights which seems odd for something that is supposed to be track focused.

I will be getting two FIA seats for the Skyline soon, my supplier asked I try him first for a good deal, maybe if we bought 4 of them.... ? :) I'll be buying on price and strength, not looks ;)

Ohh, I am interested, keep me posted, any ideas what you are going for?

Id go with the fiberglass Imolas, look nice and the price aint bad, i dont think the kevlars are worth the extra cost for the very small weight saving.

I am leaning that way at the moment

We can prob beat ANY quote on Corbeau seats, and I can get the weight, we have 2 carbon seats here now.

Hmmm, really, now that is an interesting thing... I've been look for a revolution, I seem to remember being about to get one for around £350 (Although don't quote me on that :))

Who says we haven't all sat in the seats being dicsussed? ;)
The reason I asked is a few years ago I was building a race car and wanted a new seat. I was about to order one from Tweeks (based on spec and price) when I realised I was passing their shop in a week or so and decided to see what they had in the showroom. The seat I was going to buy turned out to be too wide and while it would have saved me money it would have cost me lap time.
