Hi,

Anyone know where I can get some supra brake caliper *covers from or any useful contacts who might be able to help?

I do not want to paint my calipers or use any decals.

Please drop a message if you have any info in regards to this, your help will be very much appreciated ;)

Thanks,

Shez.

I don't think this thread is going to be pretty:innocent:

Generally these covers are frowned on and are thought of as dangerous and pointless.

I take it you mean this sort of thing

Why are you against painting and adding a decal, but happy to add glue and plastic ?:taped:

Good luck with the thread;)

The best usefull info i can give you is don't do it, if you want nice new looking calipers either refurb yours and i recomend having a look at the piston outer seals while your do so or buy new calipers.

Sounds perfectly fine to me....most spend 2-3K on crappy brakes due to the number of pistons and the colour of the caliper - think Shez is smarter than most :)

only advice i have for you is dont go caliper cover route, brakes get hot and that heat isnt ment to be kept around, if i were you i would have a look on ebay, coz it sounds most of your mods are going to come from there anyway, some black, heat proof paint and a set of supra decals from this guy ive just bought a set the other day

if you do go the route ive talked about get some copper grease to grease the sliders up

Im trying to seriously get my head round this but im struggleing with it to be honest, this almost rates at a similar level to putting flamer kits in your exhaust or those things that make your car sound like its got a turbo.

I've either got very old or im missing something or im just not into crap like this or all 3 :D

Exactly :D

cut it out guys, your ping pong comments don't change the fact Shez has unveiled an ingenious solution to an age old supra ownage issue.

size matters and so does colour........sometimes they go hand in hand :)

No sure DnK what the issue is.

Shez - perhaps you can organise a GroupBuy starting with a poll to see what three are most in demand (so many choices and colours we have to keep things simple)

Actually i do have an issue and its the fact that a grown man with a love for his car will do this to it.

Ive just read the ebay advert and seen these are just stuck together onto your caliper with silicon ???????

Imi im sorry mate im honestly not having a go at you or Shez but this stuff really is rubbish and no supra not even an uncared for shed deserves this.
