paddy155
Hi There Guy's. I am thinking about building a drift car and weekend toy. I want to use the 2JZ engine. Which car would be most suitable for this conversion and be pretty straight forward to fit ? And don't say a supra
Gaz6002
Capri - I've been hankering after a black one with a mental single for ages. Probably not that straight forward though

caseys
Drift car? 200SX. Lots of drift parts available for it too.
Swampy442
Lots of options now, 200SX, 3 and 5 series BMs etc. not sure a Crapi chassis would stand up to it!
paddy155
Not really sure. Love so many car's like bmw e36,r32 skyline,s13. Have to be realistic though as to which will be a pretty much straight forward conversion as I do not have an endless pit of money.

paddy155
Sorry, straight forward is the wrong word's to use. As I have no real experience in mechanic's etc I will have to pay people to do the conversion etc for me. I know that nothing is straight forward. I realise that their will be a degree of work invloved. I am looking for a car as a base model that will not have to be ripped to piece's and require major work in the engine bay to do this conversion. Swampy442
Driftworks is your mecca, get on there, have a look in the project cars section. In the case of E30 BMs theres conversion kits off the shelf.

May have a look around. Would the weight of a 2jz not be in an issue in a rx7 ? I remember you posted a pic of a red wide arched rx7 a while back. Looked very aggressive. That's what i'm after. I love the aggressive look. Where is the best place to look for a rx7 with dead engine ? Ebay etc ?
