Would be ideal for burnouts i guess not high speed track stuff. Free!! now thrown away:( 1x Avon zz1 255/40/17 94w 7mm tread small puncture repair nr the edge but not on the side wall. £25? 1x Avon zz3 255/40/17 2-3mm tread no damage £20...Now thrown away! 1x falken z1ex (ze-502) 255/40 zr 17 6mm tread very small puncture repair to the centre of the tyre £25 1x Goodyear eagle f1 discontinued type 265/35/18 5mm tread no damage £50 would prefer pick up from farnborough area. pics to follow! reeceu Posted May 2, 2010 Share Posted May 2, 2010 would the puncture repair on the top avon be ok for "enthusiastic" driving?? im heading to the nurburgring but would it be safe cos its not on the side wall or is there still a chance of blowout cos its a repair??? I don't suppose i could really say, it looks OK to me. Some people would not like to and others on here do drive using puncture repaired tyres and never have a problem with them.
