ellis
I'm going back to a stock BOV so my currently fitted HKS SSQV (purple fin) will be up for sale (from Thursday next week). In complete working order, no fitting instructions though - they went with my last one! Pics below taken on the car... Offers invited please. Delivery will be via CityLink 24hr. Also have my original stock rear spoiler for sale. Off the car now, painted in gunmetal. Excellent condition. Difficult to send so collection preferred or I can meet somebody half way unless they live in Scotland! You know what they look like but I'll pull it out of the garage anyway and snap it later! £50 seems to be the going rate!

jackso11
is the burnt bit on it platic, or is it metal damage? not that it makes a difference, just wondered how it go there.
Robzki
Sorry to hijack, kinda, but out of interest Why are you going stock? been thinking about changing my blitz bov to either ssqv or back to standard as I don't wholly trust the blitz... Thanks Rob

Thanks Rob I don't like the noise that's all!! Prefer it without. The HKS is a fine BOV but I'm on a mission!

It's a small groove - must have been put there by previous owner - probably to avoid a bit of pipe (or a rat!)

Guest SupraTroopa
If there's any chance you'll consider postage/courier I'll take the spoiler. Let me know if you change your mind mate
Scott
Just to give you the heads up, the fin is most likely silver as the purple fins are very rare. The purple bit that you mention will/might be the cone of the actuator Have you thought about getting the recirculation adapter for it bud? Will take away the noise but leave you with a premium valve?
scotty71
Purple fin? What does that mean? Guest SupraTroopa
Meet me in Oxfordshire, Ill bring it to you Where about in Oxford? Still about 100 miles from me I think but I could probably do it, just awaiting on getting my car back as its in the garage so not sure when I'd be able to get it hence asking for delivery but if delivery not possible I could probably meet up, just might have to be a few weeks. Swampy442
Near Henley/Reading but if you slip me a tenner for diesel I can meet you where you want.
Guest SupraTroopa
How often are you around there? Just in the week for work? Yeah well Reading services or something would be doable, no problem with cash for diesel, doing me a favour after all Ok then yeah Ellis, don't worry about the courier, I'll meet swampy and have it. Fingers crossed should have my car back soon and should be able to pick it up shortly, just waiting for some parts to arrive and get them fitted (few days maybe?) Do you want me to send you the money over paypal or just give cash to swampy?

ellis
What's the score with the mark on the BOV? Just this just plug straight into the stock BOV point? The mark was on it when I bought it. It looks like a round file mark - must have been for clearance for the previous owner. I'm assuming that when it comes off all the necessary plumbing comes off with it which will allow you to install it with nothing extra needed.
